Four important projects are being developed on a 3.2 acre parcel which wraps around the Chevron station as you come into Trinidad.

The Humboldt North Coast Land Trust owns the property and will lease the museum to the Trinidad Museum Society and the branch library to the City of Trinidad. The Museum Society and City will operate and maintain their respective buildings and the City will also maintain Saunders Park.
