Pledges

A donation is money (check or credit card) you send directly to the Humboldt Area Foundation's "Trinidad Library Building Fund." A pledge is a commitment to pay a certain amount either all at once by a certain date or in installments. Pledges and donations both count for community support in grant applications.

A pledge makes it possible for many donors to give more support to the library than an immediate donation. For example, if a family sends $200 per month for five months they provide $1000(!) for library construction, an amount they may not be able to provide in one payment.

We need library supporters to "stretch" their giving so the library can be built and open early next year. If just 300 library lovers pledge $1000, that will bring us to our goal!

Donations of any amount will be welcome, as much as an individual or family can afford. But if you can afford $1000 over the next 10-12 months, consider pledging that amount.
