Our new branch library will be funded from two sources:

1. Private donations
2. Grants

No federal, state, or city funds will be used to construct the building. This means that most of the construction funds will come from individuals who believe that libraries are critical components of healthy communities.

Once private donations demonstrate committed public support for the project, we will submit grant applications to foundations for additional funds. We need donors to maximize their contributions by December, 2008 so we can have our new library opening in 2009!
